PULICAT HANDICRAFTS: History: In 1959 during the Chief Ministership of Thiru Kamaraj, a local activist Janab Kaji Bava Sayedullah started the Palm leaf handicrafts Society with he enlisted 13 members from among the local Muslim artisans. The one of the Master Craftsman known as Janab Ali Labbai introduced innovative designs and took the craft to new heights. His designs won wide acclaim in exhibitions and thereafter the society undertaken by government of Tamil Nadu under Handloom & Handicrafts department. Pulicat Handicrafts is established on 21.03.2010. We are manufacturer and supplier of eco friendly palm leaf products like as Boxes, Bags, Dustbins, Tray, Tea mate, Rattle toys, Pen holder, Baskets, women earrings and bangles and various model of palm leaf products etc. All our products are 100% Eco-friendly Palm Leaf Products and hand made manufacture. It is also run by fully women artisan.
